Cool deal. I noticed that you were running a custom map one day, and you can find a few more at my map finder: http://www.quiktech.org/mapfinder. If you have any others that aren't listed there could you send them to spspiff@gmail.com?

I hope you have better luck hosting than I've had recently.
The way BYOND is set up right now, Anime has a stranglehold on the community that cannot be broken anytime soon. I'm pretty sure all decent developers and players who have actual standards for what they're playing have flown the coop long ago. I've hosted games sometimes for over a week with literally not a single person even bothering to log in.
Fucking stupid guild system.

What's the guild system?
By the way, I have had the server up for about 3 days now...there are about 7-9 people who play intermittently throughout the day. I've noticed that, generally, the more people on at one time, the greater the chance of someone joining the game. If you guys want to play, hop on for awhile-I'm usually floating around nearby, even if I'm not on the game.

Fucking stupid guild system. Not just any anime, but the really popular stuff that tells you the BYOND community is a bunch of fucking tools. Yugioh, Naruto, DBZ, Bleach, anything else cartoon network has shown, it's the only fucking anime that gets games*. BYOND is easily the biggest cesspool of game design fail I've ever seen. The half dozen games that didn't suck massive balls do not make up for this.
The code library should be deleted, all it does is encourage people with zero programming talent to grab a bunch of pre-made stuff, eat it all and shit out a horrible game using generic icons.
*excludes games that got anime afterwards, like Dragon Quest.

Heck, I remember when there were multitudes of Dragonball Z games when I made my key. I also remember back when games like DWO were still popular, and when games had more unique sprites within them. Oh, well....BYOND might get better later down the line. Or worse, what with entropy and all that. At least Silk Wizard still makes quality games, and the Silk Games team still has games with unique looks and gameplay.

I joined in 2002, and I can honestly say that on a whole, it has only gotten worse. Dream Seeker has gotten clunkier, the hub layout is MUCH more inconvenient than it used to be, and the community only gets worse by the minute.

I like how they can make DS suck harder in every update. I'd sacrifice several of you to have BYOND's setup from 2003-4.

I think I still have an installation file for the old BYOND. I usually keep it handy.
