Hold on a second. You designed the Shrenwold map in DWO?
Wait, of course not. You said you only knocked down a pair of walls for extra exits. So "your" map was really just an edit of Silk's to begin with.

I think you're exaggerating your abilities of what you can and can't do with the Proelium map maker. Go paint a map that uses more than just one tileset or creates base exits that won't let you back in, then whine about it if it's stolen.

Man, that just made my day. I think it's gonna be a while before I stop laughing.

Regardless of the map original placement, even if it was just knocking down a couple trees and a couple walls to place additional exits, it was still me who took the initiative.

You try replicating a whole map tile by tile and then we'll talk. It's not only time consuming, but you run into several difficulties. Now I'm not exaggerating about my abilities on the map maker if that's what it seems like I'm implying.

Like I said, it was just an unofficial announcement, take it how you want. Yet, I do have a right to defend my own work even if was just some minor tweaks.

I'm entitled at least to that.

Hahah, I think I remember you Desolin. I usually killed you a few times. Can't remember which maps you made though... are you sure it was you who made a bunch of lovable custom maps? And besides, did you have your name on the Shrenwold map before? It would piss me off if something I did had the credit revoked, but the main result is Silk can do whatever he wants since it's his own property that allowed you to do that work... (and it's BYOND own property that allowed Silk to do his work.... and it's an endless cycle of credit!)

Either way, you could just ask Silk in a polite manner (mission accomplished?) and he might give you a good reason or maybe... put your name down?

I have, several times. It's really not that hard.

This whole thread is rediculous! I had the idea long before you were born and long before the game was even created. I demand justice!

I missed your original message, but I get the feeling that you are claiming to have made the Shrenwold map first.

Well, you're wrong. I'd give you credit if credit was due... but it's not. I made the map, both for DWO, and then the altered version for Proelium. I didn't even know about the existence of your map until I read this thread five seconds ago.
