About Silk Games
My name is Ben Mallahan... but among those who play my online games, I'm known as "Silk Wizard". Silk Games was started way back in the summer of 2001 when I stumbled across BYOND, a game development system for creating 2D multiplayer games. As it turned out, not only did I have a knack for game design, I really enjoyed.
I've been a hobbyist BYOND game developer since 2001, and I've had a great deal of success creating games that appeal to people hungry for classic 2D experiences. Anyone looking for next-gen graphics or intense 3D environments definitely won't find that here... but what you will find are excellent home grown games developed by people who make them because we love to play them. All of our projects are 100% free to play, with several offering bonus features for paid subscribers.
The tight knit Silk Games community that has formed around my projects has definitely been the greatest realization of what I've spent all of this time and effort doing. Over time relationships cultivated within the community have led to the formation of a full-fledged development team... and when you get this many talented people together, good things are bound to happen!
